This weekend however has been packed with some very exciting achievements. He has started to stand unassisted for 2-3 seconds while in control. He also started clapping; it is so cute! And the biggest news is that he started to crawl. We were really glad to see him start crawling because it's such an important developmental stage. For more than a month he has only been interested in walking, and would want nothing to do with being on all fours. Now comes the challenging part of trying to keep him from getting into things that he should not.

Lots to Report
Skylar has done some pretty cool things in the past week. He has 6 teeth (4 top, 2 bottom) which have finally all broken through, so he is a much happier baby. He is mastering the art of pulling himself up and transfering from one handhold to another. And after much frustration in the past, he also figured out how to sit himself up from a laying-down postion.

Sorry I wasn't there to babysit Skylar for you while he was teething! Love the videos. Pretty soon it will be time to get some gates. Since he can clap now, he is ready for his first band concert.
