Day at the Parks

Yesterday was a day for playing in the park. We went to Happy Hollow in the morning and to Campbell park in the afternoon.
Skylar has become quite the roller coaster rider. He laughs and screams excitedly the whole way.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that the doctor says Niko is 36" tall, Happy Hollow does not agree, and Niko was very disappointed to learn that he still could not ride the roller coaster or frog hopper. He's ready and willing, though!

Skylar and Niko mixing it up on the merry-go-round with a bunch of bigger kids. They had a really good time at this and the bigger kids took good care of the smaller ones and all had fun.

While Skylar, Mommy, and Daddy rode their bikes on the trail to the waterfall, Pepper and Niko snoozed in the chariot.

Pepper pushed Niko around for a while, and later Skylar took a turn in the Pepper-powered truck.
News Flash:

Today Pepper walked most of the length of the guest house living room, at least 20 feet, all on her own. I think we can say she's a toddler now!  Yay Pepper Juju! Less than 9.5 months old and she's walking... the new and permanent record holder among the Johnson kids.

How fun! It's like a mini thunder mountain railroad! I can't believe how big Pepper is!
