Today we went to our friend Cormac's 2nd birthday party. The special surprise for all the kids was a trip to the fire station that is right on their street. The kids got to play on and in the firetrucks and we got a tour of the fire station. It was great. Skylar loved it! Below are some pictures of the trip.

Here the firefighters were telling us about the truck. One of the firefighters put on the whole outfit they wear when they go into a fire. Interesting, but also a little scary for Skylar!

We got to go on a whole tour of the fire station and when we were done everyone could go down the slide (no pole at this station). A big thank you to the firefighters that showed us all around! We had so much fun!!

What a cool idea for a birthday party! Maybe someday ge can check out Cliff's CHP car. Let's hope he never gets to check it out from the back seat though. Lol!
